IRIS retinal screening systems are installed in the primary care setting to help increase patient access to quality preventative care for diabetic retinopathy while reducing costs for patients and payers alike. We integrate seamlessness into primary care without interrupting a provider’s normal day to day workflow.
We are fully integrated with EPIC — the EMR with the largest footprint in the world.
With IRIS, primary care providers can offer a retinal exam to any patient, in their own office. If pathology is detected, patients can be referred to a specialist for preventive or corrective action that can prevent or mitigate severe vision loss or blindness.

“IRIS is the first step toward truly changing the approach we have for screening diabetic retinopathy. A lot of the people who need screening the most are the least likely to do it. IRIS is an affordable procedure and doesn’t take that much training to operate or read.”
